The Symposium of Advanced Vehicle Engineering explores the latest technologies addressing the challenges facing vehicle manufacturers in today’s highly competitive market place. The symposium is focused on 8 key areas, autonomous vehicle, crash & safety, low carbon vehicle, noise & vibration, & durability (NVH), powertrain, simulation, testing & vehicle networking (including automotive ethernet, & vehicle security).
The event will take place on August 15th and 16th 2018 at CENFORPE which is well placed in the heart of Latin Americas largest Autocluster, the ABC region of Sao Paulo state. This is an initiative of the city of Sao Bernardo Do Campo, CEITEC and Autocluster ABC.
Sao Bernardo Do Campo is often dubbed the Detroit of Latin America, it is home to several major automotive companies including Ford, Mercedes Benz, Scania, Toyota and Volkswagen, in the nearby city of Sao Caetano de Sul, the cluster is also home to General Motors. This event is targeted at engineers and management working in the automotive sector in Latin America.
Visitors to the symposium will be able to access presentations delivered by world class experts covering a wide range of advanced vehicle engineering disciplines. The event features a large technology exhibition with several international suppliers demonstrating the latest tools, hardware and software used all over the world for vehicle development.
The Autonomous Vehicle seminar targets every mode of automated vehicle including passenger cars, buses to trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
The Autonomous vehicle session offers everything you need to know to develop your intelligent vehicle, including software, sensors and communication systems.
Crash & Safety, offers extensive know how in developing your vehicle to the highest international standards in terms of passenger and pedestrian safety, impact and collision, safety analysis, hardware in testing and virtual development.
The expo will cover data acquisition, high speed cameras, test labs, software, dummies, and anything crash related.
Low Carbon Vehicle Seminar offers a good understanding of development trends that reduce emissions such as creating advanced propulsions systems, electric vehicles, hybrids, emission control systems, and lightweight vehicle technology.
The expo area welcomes all forms of green technologies that encourage low carbon vehicle technologies.
The Automotive Noise & Vibration seminar examines the latest testing and simulation methodology used by NVH professionals. The conference aims to assist managers and engineers faced with new development challenges caused by Improved noise regulations, passenger comfort, & consumer choice that are pushing the need for greater technology to improve several aspects of noise and vibration in vehicles.
The Powertrain seminar deals with all aspects of powertrain & drivetrain development with relation to passenger cars, buses, trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
The Simulation seminar examines the latest computer aided engineering used in vehicle development. This section is relevant to all other topics and may feature case studies that cross over into the other seminars at the symposium.
The Testing seminar examines a wide range of testing hardware and software, including the latest development trends and challenges. Every type of testing across the vehicle and powertrain is covered
The Vehicle Networking seminar deals with the challenges OEMs and suppliers face with increased data flow in vehicles, and more complex in vehicle networks. The seminar will deal with several topics including CAN, Ethernet, vehicle security and hacking.
The Technology exhibition features exhibitors presenting advanced vehicle engineering hardware, software, tools and services. The event covers all areas of the symposium including a large vehicle testing expo, powertrain expo, green technologies expo and advanced engineering.
